Good for catching sea bass, mackerel and sunburn on a good day. As of the summer of 2012 a culture centre....and for 2013 a Jamie Oliver Ice cream parlour.

If you're here on a quick trip from the airport before flying out, you can leave your carry-on in a locker (for one pound) at the free Adventure Island amusement park at the beginning of the pier.

Longest pier in Britain. Its about a half hour walk to the end or you can take the train.
