Unlike in the crowded Hermitage, you can enjoy the amazing works of art at peace and spend as much time in front of a painting as your heart / eyes desire. I love the building, it is full of light!

Extensive collection of Monet, Renoir, Cezanne, and their contemporaries - not to mention some very unique Matisse works. Building is a bit of a maze but offers wonderful views of the Winter Palace

Exquisite impressionist art collection. Degas, Picasso, Cezanne, Renoir, Matisse, Monet Gauguin!! Amazing building! Much more relaxed than the winter palace section!
