Aguada Fort is the largest & the best-preserved Portuguese bastion in Goa and was built in 1609-12, to control the entry into the river Mandovi and to protect Old Goa from potential enemy attacks.

This is not the Dil chahta hai fort as widely believed,the actual dil chahta hai fort is Chapora fort,which is further down vagator.This place is good visit,gives beautiful landscape view of the area.

Интересное место, если учесть, что ему пятый век пошёл. Можно дойти до него пешком с пляжа Кандолим, преодолев 7 км по горам. То, что вы видете на самом пляже - это лишь часть форта.

Великолепный вид на пляж и океан. Красивые фото получаются. Старая крепость, сохранившаяся в хорошем состоянии.
