Being careful is the keyword here. There are deep holes in the ground and narrow, sometimes extremely steep passages. Some parts of the castle almost expect climbing techniques. The castle was built by Sarı Süleyman (Süleyman the Blond), a local Kurdish despot of the Mahmudi tribe, in 1643 when Ottoman power was slipping.
