Portora Sluice Gates at d/s end of the Inter Lough channel በ floodriskmanagementni
In dry conditions, the Portora sluices are operated by Rivers Agency to manage the water levels through Enniskillen and the Upper Lough at its minimum level. In wetter conditions and during floods the sluices are left fully open as they have no direct effect on the water levels in these flow conditions.
