This is one of the five Takhts of the Sikhs. It is the place from where the Guru Gobind Singh Ji rose to Sachkhand along with his horse Dilbag. Gurdwara was built under instructions from Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji.
Sikhs throughout the world have been celebrating Guru Har Rai’s Gurgaddi Diwas on March 14 as Sikh Environment Day by planting trees. This tree looks like protected with some significance.
